VACANCIES

“Prop Box isn’t just a drama group, it’s a family”

That is what our children and parents tell us. We are an inclusive drama group with family values at our core, where we know each and every child personally and invest in helping them thrive and grow!

Our members not only have fun and learn a great deal about the performing arts, they also learn valuable life skills, form unique friendships and grow in confidence as they socialise and make memories with their friends!

We offer excellent rates of pay and a wide variety of opportunities to run classes and workshops both in term time and school holidays.  We also run a performing arts  undergraduate scheme providing students with the chance to gain teaching skills and experience, offering well above the minimum wage.

Choreographer Sept 2022

We are seeking a choreographer for our Musical Theatre group on Fridays during term time from 6:00-9:00pm. A strong Dance or Musical Theatre background is desirable as you will be choreographing dance routines for our productions and annual pantomime. Could suit a local university undergraduate studying dance or MT and wanting to gain experience in teaching. A DBS would be an advantage although not essential.

Drama Tutor Sept 2022

As a Prop Box tutor you will be as full of energy and enthusiasm as the children you are teaching and should be confident teaching both small and large groups of children. Our Pocket Prop Box group is our entry level drama class and aims to spark imagination through drama games and movement.  We do have some children with additional needs, so any experience in this area would be an advantage, but not essential. Full training and support will be given.
