Co-founder & Artistic Director

Caroline is one of the Co-founders and Artistic Director of Prop Box and has over 20 years experience working in Marketing for Swatch Watches and other multi-national Blue Chip companies. Prop Box was a vision that she shared with her co-founders of bringing professional standard, affordable drama and theatre to young people within a family like community! Caroline holds First Aid and DBS certificates and is responsible for all marketing, advertising and social media, and has a particular interest in bringing drama opportunites to and working with children with additional needs. She also makes a good cuppa!


Co-founder & Financial Director

Sarah is one of the Co-founders and Financial Director of Prop Box Youth Theatre having worked accounts for over 20 years! Sarah is responsible for applying for funding and grants and keeping the financial wheels turning, she is also a whizz on the sewing machine and regularly makes many of the wonderful costumes for our shows. Sarah also holds DBS and First Aid certificates and shares Caroline’s vision of promoting a family friendly inclusive drama group. and enjoys watching the members flourish. As if that wasn’t enough, she makes fabulous cakes that can be found at our tuck shop every Friday night!




Ella is our Director and Senior class tutor. A keen Drama enthusiast she has participated in many drama groups and amateur shows from the age of 6. Her credits include performing at Her Majesty’s Theatre on the West End, playing the role of Jack in Newsies. Ella studied A-Levels in Drama and Theatre Studies and Musical Theatre, and graduated with a BA Hons in Acting for Film at University of Chichester. Ella is currently studying her PGCE and is looking forward to qualifying as a secondary school drama teacher soon! Her hobbies include keeping fit and she is excited to share her wealth of knowledge and experience with our Prop Box members.  Ella holds a DBS and First Aid certificate.

Callum Riley


Choreographer/Vocal Coach

Grace was one of the very first children to walk through the doors of Prop Box – almost six years ago! We have followed Grace’s journey closely studying at Emil Dale Academy and at The Brighton Academy studying a degree in Musical Theatre, and we are delighted to welcome her back into the fold as a tutor and workshop leader.  Grace is also an established performer with a wealth of training and experience in all dance styles, Singing, Acting and Voice work. Grace is excited to share her knowledge and passion for all things Musical Theatre with everyone at Prop Box! 



Workshop Leader

Owen is our one of our Musical Theatre tutors and has extensive teaching and performing arts experience and is currently in his final year of professional training at the prestigious drama school Italia Conti studying a degree in Musical Theatre. Owen has written and directed shows for Prop Box and he continues to run workshops for us – passing on his skills and knowledge to our young members! Owen is First Aid trained and holds a full DBS certificate.



Workshop Leader

Molly is one of our workshop leaders and choreographers and has worked for Prop Box since 2016 producing some memorable choreography for many of our Pantomimes and Musicals!  Molly has been dancing since she could walk and has trained at Chichester University and Bird College of Dance. Molly is known for her unique choreographic style for which Prop Box shows have become renowned. Molly holds a First Aid and DBS certificate also.



Film Tutor

Isaac is our award-winning film tutor and has been running Film workshops and classes for Prop Box for the past three years and has been responsible for directing and producing two award-winning films. Isaac is passionate about passing on his knowledge of all aspects of film making both behind and in front of the camera to young Film makers in particular his love of special FX and editing! Isaac holds a DBS certificate.


Assistant Film Tutor

Charlie is former Prop Box actor and now a an assistant in our Film Class. Charlie is currently studying Media Production, English and History at Barton Peveril college. Charlie teaches alongside Isaac at our film class and workshops and assists at our Musical Theatre Class helping children learn lines and fulfil their potential. Charlie enjoys film making and Parkour and also holds a First Aid and a DBS certificate.
